Marvel Studios&#8217; <em>Black Panther: Wakanda Forever<\/em> generated a $332M global opening last weekend, taking the studio right up to the $3 billion threshold. In addition, the studio has also surpassed their 2021 total of $2.9 billion with over a month left on the 2022 calendar and several major films yet to be released. The remainder of the year will see <em>Black Panther: Wakanda Forever<\/em> continue to play globally, as well as the anticipated openings of 20th Century Studios\u2019 <em>Avatar: The Way of Water<\/em> (December 16th), Walt Disney Animation Studios\u2019 <em>Strange World<\/em> (November 23rd) and Searchlight Pictures\u2019 <em>The Menu<\/em> (November 18th) and <em>Empire of Light<\/em> (December 9th).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walt Disney Studios $3 billion to-date has largely been powered by the following five films, which generated a combined global total of $2.42 billion.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"DOCTOR STRANGE 2 &quot;Dream&quot;
